Long Range Fishing---Northern California Style

Thank you for visiting Noyo Fishing Centers Long Range Fishing web page. This type of fishing is for the dedicated, die-hard angler, and the novice that wants to go one step higher. These trips are catered to aggressive fishing methods and are very productive. NFC is the only charter office that offers these types of trips, which are setting a new standard for Nor Cal fishing. With the speed of our vessels, and the virtually unfished Cape Mendocino region, we are all but guaranteed of the success of our anglers. Pacific Halibut, salmon, rock cod, lingcod, Dungeness crab, tuna, and abalone are all possible.

Extended Day Trip

We leave very early in the morning, around 4:00am and we will return around dark that evening. We will fish for as many species as we can during the time frame, usually salmon, rock cod, lingcod, crab, and halibut. Tuna can also be pursued on the trips. The trips are limited to 15 anglers. Anglers are encouraged to bring beverages and food; ice will be supplied for the catch.

The trip includes pole, bait, and a reasonable amount of gear. Ice for the trip home is included. Additional gear can be bought on board. Fish filleting, crab cooking, and vacuum packaging of the catch is available at a minimal cost.
